We are retired and lucky enough to live in a beautiful stone house in a peaceful hamlet in the Yorkshire Wolds. We lived in Greece for 11 years returning to the UK mid lockdown 2021. We brought our two much loved Greek rescue dogs back with us. We are now seeking a sitter for them whilst we take an extended visit to the village in Greece where we used to live. Our home is comfortable and recently renovated. We have a modest garden with a stream running alongside the house and lovely walks in all directions from our village. Our dogs are walked twice daily mid morning and again early evening. If you wish to explore they can be left home alone for circa five hours, six hours absolute maximum provided they have been walked and done their business immediately before leaving them. We are happy to provide use of our spare car subject to our insurance company’s approval but cover is unlikely to be available to non-residents. There are innumerable places of interest in the area from the City of York, to Beverley and of course our local market town of Malton, to the North Yorks Moors national park and the east coast towns and beaches of Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and the amazing Flamborough Head with its puffins and seals. Not to mention grand houses/parks such as Sledmere, Castle Howard, Burton Agnes Hall, Scampston Hall, Burnby Hall Gardens, Sewerby Park and loads more.
