Shirley and Karl made us feel incredibly welcome in their lovely home. Shirley kindly took us on a tour of the area to help us get our bearings and recommend places to visit and eat. Despite the rain, we thoroughly enjoyed Eastbourne, making several trips to the theatre and local restaurants, as well as taking walks around the harbour and along the sea wall.
