About this house sitting position in Froxfield

Our home is a country cottage set within the South Downs National Park and although in rural countryside, is just 4 miles from the market town of Petersfield. The town offers everything from great food shopping, independent shops, easy parking, direct line train to London and Portsmouth. Our house comprises a 3 bed cottage, with a separate 2 bed annexe and studio, where we offer B&B accommodation. The garden is large, with plenty of places to sit and relax in shade or sun. The lanes that surround the property offer quiet woodland walks both on and off road.

The main house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. Downstairs, a kitchen with aga, sitting room and study and hall with a piano. Wifi is available in all parts of the house. There is a lovely terrace immediately outside the kitchen with lovely views across fields.

Our wonderful dog, Rocky, is a 2 yr old working cocker spaniel (Male). He is gentle, kind, well behaved and of course energetic, but not exhaustingly so. He is walked for 45-60mins in the morning and a 15-20min walk in the afternoon and he will relax and sleep for most of the time in between. He responds well to commands and although very well adored, we try and keep fairly strict control over his behaviour...i.e. he loves a sofa, but never goes upstairs!!

We would be enormously grateful for an individual or couple to look after Rocky and our house whilst we are away and this would additionally include the welcoming and looking after 2 sets of B&B guests who are each staying 2 nights during this period. A fee of £50 is provided for each set of guests. The tasks involves checking the room, which our cleaner has pre-prepared, putting breakfast ingredients in the room, welcoming guests when they arrive and answering any queries they have during their stay (details are provided for you!). We will provide a basic fridge full of food to be agreed in advance.
