About this house sitting position in Heathfield
I am looking for a caring sitter to look after our lovely home and delightful menagerie. Our home is situated in a beautiful rural area with lovely walks in every direction. The location is a little remote so a car is a must. Heathfield High Street and shops are around a 20 minute walk but just 5 minutes by car.
We have 1 dog, 2 cats, pond fish and poultry so lovely fresh eggs every day. Ideally I would like somebody that is willing and able to give the dog at least one decent walk every day. The cats are very cuddly and enjoy company. One is an Arabian Mau, around 10 years old, very chatty and vocal. The other is a 9 month old moggy, very playful and naughty, both males.

“Jayne was really good at providing all the information I needed to get to the shops, the routes and walks around the surrounding area, which is regarded as an area of outstanding natural beauty, and it certainly is. I saw white deer and a stage to boot! The walk through the woods to the Coop and local charity shops was really enjoyable. The dogs were lovely, Florence is easy to walk as she is so well behaved. Dobby followed me around and is so cute, the 2 cats are also very nice, Linus, still a kitten made me laugh on many occasions playing around the house. The birds are also in the habit of going to roost as the sun goes down, so also no trouble. I will definitely do this sit again if we can coordinate dates. ” - Read more
