About this house sitting position in Holbeton
Comfortable, quiet, rural retreat. Modern country home with exceptional views, of high standard thorough out, with large private gardens and terrace, close to beautiful beaches and estuaries, south west coastal path and many Devon villages and pubs in a desirable tourist area. We are looking for a couple to look after our big friendly dog, large vegetable garden, flower pots, rabbits and hens and to do grass cutting on a sit-on mower. Vegetable garden involves watering and picking (and hopefully eating!) produce (about 1 hour per day); Dog needs 1.5 hours a day or loves a trip out; Hens and rabbits 4 hours a week including cleaning out, and egg collecting; Grass cutting 2 hours per week; Also someone, to act as first point of call for any issues arising from next door holiday cottage (infrequent); Plus, optional paid cleaning of holiday cottage (4 hours per week) Car is essential; Closest villages with shops and pubs 10 minutes by car; Location is rural but accessible, within 20 minutes of A38 at Smithaleigh and 35 minutes of Plymouth and Kingsbridge
