About this house sitting position in Kerridge, near Bollington
We live in Kerridge which is a small village in the Cheshire countryside near Macclesfield. Our house is one half of a larger property dating from 1830. We have a fairly large garden with a vegetable patch and greenhouse.
Our pets are two cats- a ginger one and a tabby, brother and sister about 4 years old. They are outdoor cats and they are very friendly.
The area around us is very good for walking, with the canal and the Middlewood way which is a converted railway line. There are also walks into the hills from the doorstep. Bollington is within walking distance and has restaurants, pubs and shops.

Reviews for Jo
“I thoroughly enjoyed looking after sibling cats Erik and Martha in their beautiful, historic home in Kerridge, near Macclesfield. While Martha was a little shy at first, Erik was all set for 'stroll adventures' around the gardens with me from day 1. They are both affectionate cats that enjoy company and I found myself passing time playing and cuddling a lot.
I found Jo and Chris to be lovely people who are kind and generous, making my stay of eight days very easy to settle into. They left walking maps and an information book including contacts of neighbours for help if needed. The surrounding countryside is very beautiful and the walk to the village took under half an hour.
I will be delighted to be able to sit again for Jo and Chris, and look forward to the chance to see Erik and Martha again.” - Read more
