About this house sitting position in Langwith

A two bed end of terrace with extensive countryside views. We have an allotment (100 metres away from our home) with 28 poultry across 4 runs. One of our dogs needs twice daily insulin injections for his diabetes.

One of our 2 dogs is blind. His daily 'exercise' is joining you to the allotment on the morning run, for him to potter about. He is fairly large (a Dobe x Vizsla) but elderly (12yrs) so a degree of fitness would be ideal.

Amenities in the house include two large screen TV's both with Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney. In addition, the front room has a Blu Ray player, with hundreds of films in situ to choose from. This TV is also ran through a pretty high end Pro-Logic set up which makes films a real treat!

The kitchen includes a microwave, a fan oven/ hob, an air-fryer, a toaster and kettle and also a large fridge.

Amenities within the homes garden include a summerhouse, a full size Weber kettle barbecue, and an outside teak dining set.

Please be aware that to the rear of our property there is an extension which is not yet fully completed. it is perfectly liveable, secure and weathertight, but not to a 'finished' standard. To relax of (say) an evening the front room is of much nicer standard.

The allotment is just a minutes walk away, and all 4 runs have auto openers to let them out at the crack of dawn. It is near enough to home that from our back garden you can catch a sound of our Cockerels crowing!

The birds don't take a lot of looking after. They all need food putting out for them every morning, and waterers topped up when needed. At dusk they (mainly, the two drakes need shoeing in) put themselves to bed. All that is required at this time is a head count to check they're all in safe, and taking the food up. Any eggs (duck and hen) are yours to consume during your stay, should you wish.

If we could also please ask that the allotment gets a quick water daily (unless there's rain) which maybe takes 15 minutes? Any produce you wish to consume (fruits, berries, vegs, herbs etc) is yours to help yourself to.

100 metres away there is a train station, which can transport you to Nottingham, Sheffield or Worksop, should you want to visit at any point.

Sherwood Forest, Welbeck Estates, Thoresby and Creswell Crags (the end point of the ice age) are all within 15 minute drives. There is also a local riverside pub a short stroll down the road (their chips are sublime!) and a posher one the other side of the village if you want to treat yourself.
