About this house sitting position in Llanfairfechan

I am looking for a dog lover to come and stay with my 4 tibetan terriers, for 1.5 weeks in October. Cassie is 14, but still quite lively, Dora who is 6 and was a 'lockdown' pup, very sweet, Bambi a rescue who will be 2 years old, and Honey who will be 2.5 years old- they are our 'babies'. You should be aware that the dogs are allowed on the furniture and tend to sleep on the foot of our beds, if that offends you in any way, then we won't be the right sit for you.

Our home is an old 3 storey victorian place, only a minute's walk from the beach here on the North Wales coast. There's a driveway with gates that you will be able to park on if you bring a vehicle with you.
I need someone who loves dogs and who will commit to spending most of the time with them, (or take them out with you), not leaving them for longer than two hours at a time, as they are used to us working from home and always being here.

The house : We have a fairly new and modern kitchen with a double range. There's a small wc/sink area off the kitchen, on the ground floor. We also have a lounge with a big smart TV and an office with the usual all important wifi. Upstairs there's a double bedroom, opposite that is the main bedroom (superking bed), a small shower room with toilet. Up again and another king double, and the utility area with washer and dryer, and a bathroom with tub. There is also an office, with a dog sofa, desk, office chair, wifi. For our house, think 'comfy' Lots of sofas both inside and out, comfy mattresses and pillows, comfy dog beds (although they will be on and off the bed your are sleeping in, no question about that).

So that's three bedrooms in total, two have king beds and one a superking.

Outside we have a garden with comfortable furniture, although in the winter I often tie it down as we can get strong winds here. There's also a drive where we park, a garage (full of freezer, lawn mower and STUFF) and a small greenhouse.

In the garden too we have a cottage that we rent out. I mention this because I'm aware that if a sitter is coming to explore North Wales and I'm asking them to stay in most of the time, then it's only fair to say I will be happy to offer you a separate break after our own holiday, when you can stay independently in the cottage and do your exploring then, so that the dogs aren't left alone when we're away. (Bear in mind though that the cottage itself is tiny and only sleeps two in one double bed). You can see info on the cottage and more pics if you search for brondalarcottage

The area is lovely, it's a very quiet village on the edges of Snowdonia National Park, 10 mins from Llandudno and Colwyn Bay. Not a lot happening in the village, so definitely don't come here if it's nightlife you want. But the beach is literally 2 minutes walk, and you can walk a circular loop around salt flats - our village / beach area is famous for attracting unusual birds. We do have kayaks, but as it will be winter we would very much caution you that you probably won't be able to use them unless it's a particularly calm day, the tide is very quick and there are strong currents. It can get very windy here in the winter.

The village here has a Co-op, a butcher, Chinese and Indian takeaway and a fish n chip shop, there's also a cafe out on the seafront, only a minute away from the house. If you want to go for a pint, the Sailing Club is just around the corner on the seafront (open Thurs to Sun) and can be used for a nominal fee.
I will get a Tesco delivery in for you so there's plenty of basics and I have loads of spices, baking ingredients etc, you're more than welcome to use whatever is in the cupboards, and the fridge.
Might be best suited for at least a couple as walking four dogs is a bit much for one person, they tend to circle you and tie their leads around your legs.. They get one walk a day and we tend to look for quiet times when there aren't as many people out there - early morning, over a mealtime, or once it's started to go dark. There's always the beach of course too, they enjoy a run on the sand, we have an app that can be checked to see when the tide is low.
If you are interested, happy to FaceTime or WhatsApp and show you around via video.
