About this house sitting position in Llanrug

Cottage set within 6 acres of land, beautiful and very peaceful. Two double bedrooms, sun lounge, rustic kitchen with dining table and cosy sofa by the log burner, office. Plenty of seasoned firewood and underfloor heating powered by the gas boiler. Induction hob and electric oven / grill. No dishwasher. NO TV but we do have a TV licence in case you wish to bring your own.

Outside there is a fenced garden with a rustic dining table and benches, lovely in the summer.

The property is located 300m along a track from the road. From the house you can walk all the way to the top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) without crossing a road. Llanberis is 4 miles away. Caernarfon is 5 miles in the other direction. There is a Coop in Llanrug (1.5miles) and large supermarkets in Caernarfon.

We have two dogs, both are very sweet and play together. Fflic is a 5 year old female collie x huntaway (NZ sheepdog). She is intelligent and obedient. She loves a game of chase or for someone to kick the ball / throw balls for her. She is nosy and wants to be involved in everything. When playing, she barks. She is good around sheep but we do keep her on a lead when walking in sheep country in the mountain.

Ziggi is a male border terrier, he will be coming up to 2 years old. He is a very happy soul, loves Fflic, all humans, all dogs. His recall is excellent... until something more interesting captures his attention. At the moment we keep him on a long lead so as to avoid him wandering off with other walkers, his training is ongoing. Ziggi's favourite toys are balls and fluffy toys.

Dog walking: after breakfast around the fields, before bed around the fields and a longer walk sometime during the day.

We feed the birds and they will be very grateful if you would top up the feeders from time to time.

We are looking for a sitter(s) from 14/9 early afternoon (so that we have time to show you around) until 1st October. We should arrive home around 2pm.
