About this house sitting position in Longhope, Isle of Hoy, Orkney Islands

We live on the Isle of Hoy in the Orkney Islands, an absolute stunning place to visit. We have a large 3 bedroom, 200 year old, character home with a large garden on the shore of Scapa Flow.
The house sitter/s needs to have experience with cats; our two cats are very friendly and need to be fed twice daily, being occasionally let in and out. They are easy to look after as they come and go as they wish. Our eight chickens, live in a large, enclosed run which are very low maintenance, just needing feeding as required and checking on in the mornings, evenings and collecting the eggs, with a weekly clean-out of the coop.
The house is conveniently and centrally located in the village of Longhope, near to the Island Shop, Health Centre, Community Hall, Pub and other amenities. Every room has a sea view, the house being literally situated on the sea wall overlooking the shoreline and Harbour, where you can hear the sea lapping against the stoney beach, and see the fishing boats coming and going, seals and an abundance of sea birds are frequent visitors.
