Hi! We’re Dominika and Kieran.
We have two affectionate six-month-old kittens, Felix and Luna, who love cuddling—both with each other and with people. They’re very energetic, playful, and often fall asleep on laps. Felix and Luna are indoor cats, so they require feeding and litter tray cleaning twice a day, and special care needs to be taken when opening the main or back doors to reduce the risk of them slipping outside.
We live in a cozy three-bedroom house with a large garden in the village of Lyneham. Just behind our house is a big field with a scenic viewpoint, and a 20-25 minute walk down the road a charming village, Bradenstoke. Bradenstoke has beautiful old houses and a quiet, countryside feel. Although Lyneham is small, it has a selection of food shops, takeaways, a pub with great food and pool games, an Indian restaurant, and a petrol station with a pharmacy.
For more amenities, Royal Wootton Bassett is a 10-minute drive away, offering a variety of shops, cafes, and dining options. Swindon, the nearest large city, is 20 minutes away and has the Swindon Designer Outlet. Within a 30-minute drive, you can also explore the Cotswolds towns of Tetbury and Cirencester, the market town of Marlborough, or Lacock, which is owned almost entirely by the National Trust.
Our home has a fully set-up home office, so remote work won’t be an issue. We prefer guests use the single bed in one of the offices, but we’re also open to offering our master bedroom with a king-sized bed, provided you’re comfortable putting on fresh bedsheets if we’re departing early that day. The master bedroom has an en-suite with a sink and toilet, and there’s also a bathroom and separate toilet downstairs.
For relaxation, we have a super comfy sofa, Netflix, and Amazon Prime streaming for cozy evenings. Both bedrooms come with electric blankets and air purifiers. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, air fryer, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine (we’ll make sure there are coffee beans stocked up!). Fresh coffee in the morning is a real treat! Additionally, there’s a washing machine and a dehumidifier in a separate room. The heating will be set to maintain a constant temperature, so the house will stay comfortably above 21°C.
We’re ideally looking for a single person who enjoys a quiet, countryside environment, but we’re open to respectful couples as well. As vegetarians, we request that no fresh meat is stored or prepared in our home, although pre-cooked meat is fine. We also ask that there’s no smoking inside the house.
Since public transport is limited, you’ll need your own transportation. Bus 55 does stop in the village and connects to Swindon and Chippenham, but having a car will be more convenient.
