About this house sitting position in Marham

We are looking for someone to take care of our very special tripod dog, affectionate older cat, and pond fish while staying in a beautiful converted Chapel in the middle of Norfolk countryside. The house is large and very comfortable and we have a beautiful low-maintenance garden. The stunning Norfolk beaches and Sandringham estate are a short drive away. Also plenty of lovely local walks and historical villages to explore. Unfortunately we can’t have sitters with animals as ours are very jealous. Miro-the-dog needs one walk a day and can be left alone for max 6 hours. Simba-the-cat is elderly needs to be given a pill every day (easy with pillpocket treats). The pond fish just need daily feeding. Experience with rescue dogs is a bonus.

“Thank you Lana and Alec for a lovely house sitting experience, over Christmas and New Year. We were made very welcome on arrival and found that Lana and Alec had decorated the house for Christmas which was a lovely touch.
Instructions were thorough and complete, so routines were easy to maintain, and all our questions covered.
Miro, the 3 legged rescue dog, was a joy, he and Simba, the cuddly cat, were a pleasure to care for. Both such characters, making us smile every day, and very easy to look after; we all enjoyed our cuddles on the sofa each evening.
The house was a wonderful converted chapel which was comfortable, cosy and in a wonderfully convenient position for walking Miro and we also made good use of the local buses.
Thank you Lana and Alec, we hope to see you again.
