About this house sitting position in Market Rasen

We are looking for someone to look after our home and dog whilst we are away for an extended period.
Our home is located in a very small rural village on the Lincolnshire Wolds about 5 miles from Market Rasen. There are no facilities or public transport in the village so our house sitter must have their own transport. Shops including supermarkets and pharmacy are located at Market Rasen.
The house is a four bedroom cottage with a large garden and has fantastic views. It’s a special place and we have lived here for over 40 years! There’s excellent full fibre broadband and WiFi throughout the house. The house is centrally heated (there is also an open fire and a pellet stove) and has a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine.
There are plenty of lovely walks from the house through beautiful countryside.
Our house sitter must be a dog lover. Our Cocker Spaniel will be 12 years old when this sit starts; he will want to follow you around and needs walking twice a day. He loves attention! To give you a break our daughter who lives nearby will be able to have him over some weekends by arrangement; she will also deal with any health issues.
We’d welcome applications from single people or a couple. We can offer a double bedroom for your use as well as full access to the house and gardens.

Reviews for Chris

5 stars stars
“Sitting for Chris and Elaine was a pleasure; Ollie is an absolute delight with an incredibly gentle nature, he made me smile a lot! The pack that Chris and Elaine put together was one of the most thorough I’ve received from owners, and they were there to help if I needed anything during the sit.
I would be happy to come back and sit for them again x
