A spacious, warm and comfortable house for the whole of January and February next year (please note: without pets). House is beautifully kept and well maintained, with a small garden. Maulden is a lovely little village with 2 gastropubs and a shop all within 12 minutes walk. Footpaths are on the doorstep - these take you through nearby ancient woodland and also over the fields to the small market town of Ampthill. Ampthill is just 5 minutes drive away and has a Waitrose, independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, hairdresser/ barber, doctor, dentist etc, as well as Ampthill Great Park with its beautiful walks and a great cafe for breakfast or coffee & cake.
A fantastic local area as well, with attractions like Wrest Park, Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve (both 10 mins drive) and the Shuttleworth aircraft museum (20 mins drive) to explore.
The 44 bus runs through the village (Bedford - Clophill - Maulden - Ampthill - Flitwick).
