About this house sitting position in Newcastle upon Tyne

I have a comfortable, welcoming family home in a quiet residential area with good access to Newcastle, the coast and the beautiful Northumberland countryside.

My main requirement is caring for my much-loved animals: Rosie and Kit, my two whippets; Bentley and Jeffrey, my two cats; and six chickens. The dogs are affectionate and enjoy their walks and company. The cats are more independent, and the chickens need straightforward daily feeding, fresh water and checking.

I’m looking for someone kind, trustworthy and genuinely comfortable around animals who will treat my home and pets as they would their own. The dogs stay downstairs and the cats have access to the upstairs areas, so I’d ask that these boundaries are maintained.

In return, you’ll have a lovely base from which to explore Newcastle, the North East coast and Northumberland, while enjoying the company of a rather wonderful collection of animals!
