House sit required RURAL BEDFORDSHIRE. Comfy cosy home 300 years old. Large spacious double bedroom newly renovated. Boo and Lily are two friendly cats (white shorthair and rag-doll) who have very individual characters. The house is in a conservation village near to the Shuttleworth Aircraft Museum and Swiss Gardens (5 mins) Wrest Park English Heritage (filming location Bridgerton) 20 mins. Excellent village pubs and others within a few miles. Pub in village walking distance. Lovely farm cafe in next village serving great local food. Easy access off A1. Cambridge is 45 mins away/Bedford 20 mins/MK 40 mins so quite central to get out and about. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of books, cds, Sonos etc., so a great place to chill out with country walks just outside the back door. A lovely wood walk within 5 mins. Spacious garden with seating areas to chill with a beer, wine, tea or coffee. Milk, eggs, bread etc provided. Lots of information on local area and things to do. Secure off street parking, gated access. Chairs to sit by field and watch the red kites, spitfires or fall asleep in the peace of the environment. Shaded areas if it gets too hot! Its not bright lights big city but a perfect place to chill, read, paint, sleep, slow pace, walk and just relax. We all need more of that...flexible with dates so pls drop us a line if you cant do exact dates but would like a relaxing week away in a historic setting.
