About this house sitting position in Romney Marsh, Kent

I live in the heart of Romney Marsh on the Kent Sussex border, close to New Romney and the sea and equidistant to the lovely town of Rye in East Sussex and Ashford in Kent. I live next to the medieval village church and my house is set in a 3/4 acre plot of garden where you can relax and unwind!
I am seeking a non-smoking house sitter/s (ideally with a little gardening knowledge) to care for my 6 chickens, ensuring they are safely shut in at night and have food and water. There is a little garden care needed at this time of year - mainly watering pots or seeds if the weather is hot and checking the greenhouse watering system is working OK - sometimes the small hoses pop out of place! Ideally you would be able to arrive on the evening of 15 April so I could show you around and what is needed. You will ideally have a car for this house sit as there is only one bus a day through the village although the last sitter had no car and enjoyed a quiet time reading and relaxing and spending time with my hens. Train stations within a 6 minute drive.
