About this house sitting position in Shotts

My home is an idyllic cottage (end terraced) on a quiet backroad to Shotts with washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer and an open fire. There is parking directly in front of the house. It has a secure garden and good country/woodland walks nearby.

There is a train station (Hartwood), just 0.4 miles from the house, serving the Glasgow to Edinburgh route. There is an hourly bus service to the local towns. Shotts has many take-aways, chemist, post office and Newmains has an ASDA supermarket & the usual conveniences.

I require a trustworthy house-sitter to look after my plants and my English Bull Terrier (EBT) while I travel. The EBT is a noble and strong-headed breed and very faithful. In order to control am EBT, you MUST be a strong, capable person who is willing to mete out tough love. The EBT is a fiercely loyal breed and may become aggressive towards other dogs when walking outside. At home, they are gentle, good-natured pets. Please do not allow the dog to jump up onto the sofas without first asking permission.

I travel for short and long periods (up to six months at a time). Please only enquire if you are a solo sitter as I have a large single bed plus a long comfy couch you can sleep on.
