About this house sitting position in Stanford-Le-Hope
We’d love your help caring for our pets and home while you stay.
Connor needs feeding twice a day, with a little garden tidy-up (poo pick-up). Because of operations on his back legs, he’s happiest with gentle, short-to-medium walks rather than long adventures—but he still enjoys getting out and about and can happily be left for 3–4 hours if needed. Connor is a true Boxer at heart: playful, affectionate, and always ready for cuddles. At night, he sleeps comfortably in his crate with bedding, in your room.
Our two Hermann’s tortoises are very low-maintenance. They simply need fresh food and water each day, a quick spot-clean of their enclosure, and a bath twice a week to help them stay hydrated.
Most importantly, we’d just ask you to treat our home with the same care and respect as you would your own. Thank you!
We live in a modern home on a small, friendly estate, just a two-minute walk from open fields that stretch for miles in every direction—perfect for peaceful walks and exploring nature.
Within a 5–20 minute drive, you’ll find plenty of parks and nature reserves to enjoy, including some along the Thames Estuary with beautiful views and lots of family-friendly activities.
If you fancy a day by the sea, Southend’s lively beaches are just 30 minutes away, while the quieter shores of Canvey Island can be reached in 20 minutes. Essex is also full of charming villages with historic churches and plenty of character to discover.
For even more variety, Kent is only 20 minutes away via the QE2 Bridge, offering an abundance of places to visit and explore. Read more...
