Christmas in a Quiet Village Near Chester (Dec 2 – Dec 29)

The Opportunity - My daughter and I are heading away for a much-needed change of scenery this December. We are looking for a reliable, animal-loving sitter (or couple) to look after our home and our beloved pets while we take a breath and recharge. We are away from December 3rd to the 28th, but we are happy to have you arrive early to get settled, and there’s no rush for you to head off the moment we return!

The Furry Residents - The "Babies": Two 14-year-old Yorkshire Terriers. They are the heart of our home. Being seniors, they only need a short daily stroll, but they have high standards for cuddles—they will expect to sleep on the bed with you! They can be left for a maximum of 4–5 hours.

The Feline Trio: Three cats who are quite independent. They’ve become friendlier lately and might pop in for a hello, but generally, they do their own thing.

Location & Logistics - The Setting: A peaceful, small village on the outskirts of Chester. It’s a beautiful city to explore, especially with the Christmas markets, and we are very close to Cheshire Oaks for any holiday shopping.

Transport: While there is an hourly bus service, we highly recommend having a car to get the most out of the area. If the weather stays dry, there are lovely walks right on our doorstep.

The House: A comfortable home with two double bedrooms. You’ll have full use of the house.

Expenses: You will have no household bills during your stay; reasonable expenses are open for negotiation for the right person.

Flexibility
While we’d love someone for the full duration, my son is happy to help for two weeks if needed, so we are open to splitting the sit if you can only commit to part of the month.
