About this house sitting position in Totnes
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY IF YOU CHARGE A FEE FOR HOUSESITTING. I AM LOOKING FOR A FREE EXCHANGE BETWEEN SITTER AND HOME OWNER.
We will be travelling for the month of May and are looking for someone to house & pet sit.
We also will need someone for the month of July
You will need your own transport, as it is 2 miles away from the next bus stop.
We live in a spacious converted barn 5 miles from Totnes, a lively market town in South Devon, surrounded by nature, and only about 10 miles away from the seaside or Dartmoor National Park.
We have 2 cats and one house rabbit who need tender, loving, and reliable care when we are away, and some indoor plants. IN the spring / summer there will also be some outdoor plants to water if it doesn't rain. Also, the wild birds need to be fed and about once a week the feeding station be cleaned.
We live partially off grid and our treatment tank discharges into the local stream, so it is really important not to use any chemicals or non biodegradable toiletries which we will all provide for you.
No smoking in the house, please.

The cats are sweet, Cindy especially loves cuddles. The house rabbit, Reggie, is great entertainment following you around and will even come into the bedroom to find you in the morning because it's carrot time.
We thoroughly recommend sitting for Falco & Ruth and hope we can stay there again.
