About this house sitting position in Twickenham

Lovely 3/4 bedroom terraced cottage in a quiet, pretty street. Gorgeous pubs within minutes (serving great food and beer gardens for outdoor drinking), local shops and so much public transport - buses and trains. Train station is 10 minutes walk (Strawberry Hill). Local town in Twickenham - a short bus ride away or 20 mins walk. There is now controlled parking zone around the neighbourhood, but if you arrive by car, you can park it for free about 10 minutes walk away.
Hampton Court is nearby, as are several other fancy destinations such as Ham House, Marble Hill House etc. Bushy Park, Richmond Park and the River Thames path are also fairly close - lovely for walks.

The house has a king master bedroom in the attic, a play room with a fold-out double, a twin room and a single bedroom. The eat-in kitchen leads to the garden. Living room has a wood burning heater and the sitting room has a tv with Netflix and Amazon.
As the house was originally a workers cottage, the stairs are relatively steep, so not advisable for a person with limited mobility.
We have one friendly cat called Pipo to look after. He loves having someone to play with, and likes to sit on laps in the evening, but is otherwise an active indoor/outdoor cat with no health issues or old age to contend with.
We have a small garden needs watering in the summer months and weeding (particularly the dreaded bindweed that keeps coming up), but no lawn to mow.
There is are two desks in the house for home working, with good internet speed.
All-in-all this is a very easy house sit in a lovely location, so I do ask that you commit to giving the kitchen and bathroom a good clean while you're here, and leave some fresh milk and bread in the fridge for our return as we will likely arrive home late in the evening. Read more...
