About this house sitting position in Wooler
Our home is in Wooler, a historic market town in Northumberland, UK. Known as the "Gateway to the Cheviots," it offers scenic hiking, independent shops, and stone architecture.
Our house consists of two gardens, front and back, living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
There is a big fridge freezer but no dishwasher.
Monty is a 10-year-old cuddly staffy-cross rescue who’s anxious in new environments but very loving once he trusts you. He loves naps, cuddles, and sees himself as a lap dog. He’s not good with other dogs or children, so wears a muzzle and stays on-lead. He’s small (14kg), easy to handle, and fine walking past dogs unless approached.
Sid is an 8-year-old dorky whippet-cross who loves being outdoors and exploring. He gets on well with most dogs (not huskies or German shepherds) and is fine with children. He can be let off the lead in enclosed areas and is easy to manage at around 14kg.
The dogs can only be left alone for up to an hour so you can nip out to the shops etc, we've only just moved into the house, we haven't yet built up to leaving them alone in the new environment.
We require the sitter to have a video call with us, a meet pre-sit if possible, and then at least a full day and evening for handover. Read more...
