About this house sitting position in Rufford
Our home is a 60' widebeam boat, moored in a rural marina in a delighful corner of Lancashire. We are looking for someone to live on our boat with our cats (4) and dogs (2) while we visit Greece.
Although you would be unable to travel on the canals, due to insurance ruless, during these dates, this does present an oppoortunity to get to know life on board a comfortable, well equipped boat.
The boat is moored on a friendly marina in a rural location, and with easy access to the towpathsurrounded by open countryside for lovely walks with the dogs.
Despite the 'country' feel, it is easily accessible by car and public transport. There are all the shops you need 3 miles away in Burscough Bridge.
