We are an easy going, happy, healthy, active couple who share a good sense of humour, the mutual love of adventure and the natural world.

We love to experience new places and cultures, but also aim to do so within a sensible budget, so housesitting is a wonderful way to achieve this, while giving us the chance to cuddle some lovely pet friends too.

As we live in the North West, and we are keen to see more of this area. Dave can work from many locations. I am writing a series of books so I tend to do this from ‘home’ and appreciate the companionship of a pet to help me with writers block.

We’ve raised our own families and experienced everything a home or pet can ever do. We both have great combined knowledge on all sorts of pets. Cats, dogs (including dogs with behavioural issues), fish, birds, chickens, horses and farm animals. We will care for yours as though they were ours while you are away. You can rest assured your home is in excellent hands.

We very much respect the rising cost of living, and are well used to being careful with electricity, gas and water usage as well as recycling and keeping your place clean and tidy.

Dave is a great gardener and will keep your plants smiling and your lawns glowing. He also loves to cook, while I’m the cleaner, organiser and communicator of the team.

Your home will be just as you left it on your return and we are more than happy to assist in gathering groceries for you or anything else we can help with making your return as easy as possible.

Our personal interests include all sorts of games like cards, darts, pool/snooker (Dave is a world champion pool player), trivia and board games.
We enjoy travel, hiking, nature, cooking, new cultures and seeing local sights.

Staying strong, fit and healthy is important to us so stairs and long walks are welcome ;-)
