We are a recently retired responsible couple who have run our own B&B for 8 years, so we know how important it is to look after other people's homes, having been on the receiving end for a long while. We enjoy self catering holidays where we can experience really living in a community so this seems like a good way to do just that. We had our own cats until recently and are used to taking care of pets. Last year we spent 12 days in London looking after a home and two beautiful Siberian cats who kept us very entertained. We have also just returned from Devon where we again looked after 2 young cats, one of which had some special needs. All went very well, we enjoyed them very much and also the chance to see an area we had not visited before.
