HI! I am a retired Chartered Accountant and my partner Vicki is a soon to be retired Software Engineer.
We both love animals - I have had dogs and cats throughout my life; and Vicki recently lost her much adored cat Inky. and also loves horses and is experienced at looking after them.
We live separately but only 6 miles apart. I now live in a block of flats where unfortunately pets are not allowed. However I volunteer at Bristol Zoo where I interact with exotic animals, and I also increasingly act as a Pet & House sitter for various friends and relatives. One of these uses a dog walker when I am not available and it was he who suggested that we should look into Pet and House sitting on a wider scale via a website - and hence I am writing this !
I have been a home owner for years and now have free time to travel more and to visit different parts of our lovely land. I am a competent gardener and adequate at basic DIY. I also ( at my age!!) have years of experience in house managment and maintenance.
Vicki is still working full time until June 2024 but I am available now and she will join me when she can on a Pet and House sit until she is fully retired.
We love exercise in the fresh air - walking, running and cycling.
Without beating our owns drums too much, - I feel it is accurate to say that we are honest, reliable and intelligent people, confident of being able to look after your house.
