A few years ago, we decided to rent our home out while we travel in our motor home, volunteering and pet/house sitting in order to supplement our rental income. So far, we've sat a Scottish castle, farms and smallholdings in Wales, an animal sanctuary in Cambridgeshire and have volunteered on a wide variety of properties (even a cactus farm in Devon!) through Wwoof-UK, and it's been wonderful.
We have over 100 years of life experience between us, including gardening, property maintenance, and animal welfare. ... oh, and Peter was a beekeeper.
It's such a privilege to be entrusted as sitters and we've been so lucky with all the wonderful Hosts we've met over the years, often returning to what have become good friends when our services are required again.
We're fit non-smokers, happy to provide references, and will take the best care of your home and any loved ones you're leaving us with.

PS. Please do look at the picture of our motorhome. She is a big lady and needs reasonable room for access and parking ... I will struggle with overhead trees or gates on narrow lanes .... sorry!
