More information about this house sitter

Sandie is a recently retired medical scientist, Peter is semi-retired and we are both enthusiastic travelers. We are fit and active and enjoy the outdoors, camping and bush walking. In the early 2000's we lived and traveled aboard our 36' sailing vessel for 12 years. We did volunteer work in northern Tonga for 4 years, establishing a medical laboratory in a small regional hospital. During our time on the boat we became very independent and capable when it came to repairs and maintenance. On our return to Australia in 2008 we started house sitting on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. We have experience with rural acreages, large gardens, urban residences with swimming pools and of course a variety of pets. Our house sitting calendar became full with repeat house sits and word of mouth recommendations. We only stopped house sitting once we purchased our own 1/2 acre. Our garden is well established, the house is in good repair and we are itching to see more of the world. Our previous house sitting experiences were all wonderfully positive and we are keen for a repeat!
