Hello! My name’s Belle and I run my own business as a dancer/performer/comedian/show writer, but equally love my other life as a petsitter!

I have been petsitting for almost a year now (outside of previously sitting for friends and family), both here in London where I live, and in Australia, where I spent the beginning of this year performing mainly at Fringe Festivals. I grew up with my grandma who raised labradors and had seven dogs (!!) so am very used to all that entails.

In my animal companion life I can relax and sit round the house with a cuddly cat on my lap, take a pooch for a stroll to sniff at every corner and chase every ball, or talk to the parrot who just landed on my shoulder — what more could one ask for!

I’m currently working on a couple of new theatre projects which means long hours in front of a screen, but, luckily for my furry friends, means I am mostly at home so we can follow their usual schedule.

I have experience with large dogs, nervous pets (who cannot be left alone for long), shy pets, giving oral medicine, and taking in stride any sudden changes on the part of the travel plans of pet parents.

2 weeks in November looking after three playful cats (well, two were, anyway!).
A week in October looking after two tiny dooggos, two cats, and a tank of exotic fish.
2 and a half weeks in July looking after two feisty wee pooches.

We had an overseas trip booked and after our initial sitter fell through, Belle came to our rescue and looked after our 9 year old, needy cat. Our flight was early in the morning, Belle made a long journey over to be with Ruby at sparrows fart which made us very appreciative and at ease prior to our flight. We received daily updates with photos and funny stories and knew that our Ruby was in great hands. Communication was easy, nothing was a problem and we came home to a tidy house and happy girl. ‘Belle is highly recommended to look after your beloved pet(s) and home. Belle completed a meet and greet prior to the sitting commencing and kept in contact throughout the whole process and the time I was away. I wrote a very loose manual on things around the home, feeding etc. All instructions were followed. I came home to a happy dog and a clean linen bedroom, which was fabulous.
