Hello! My name is Angela and I am a full-time primary teacher, a very proud single parent and a loving and responsible pet owner. I love to explore the UK as much as possible now, after living abroad for 20 years, and I realised that housesitting is an ideal way to continue doing that (during school holidays when I'm not teaching). I also adore animals and consider it a privilege to be able to spend my holidays petsitting.
From time to time, I loan my own home out to pet and housesitters on this site so I truly understand how important it is to have someone stay that you know you can trust with your home and pet. I can supply a DBS check and references upon request. It is something I expect from housesitters myself - for insurance purposes and personal reassurance.
I have a lovely 16 year old daughter, Jasmine, who also loves animals and we have a gorgeous 6 year old labrador of our own, called Pogo. Pogo is very friendly with people and pets; it would be great to bring her with us when we housesit, but we would make other arrangements if homeowners are not comfortable with her tagging along.
As a housesitter, I treat anybody's home with the greatest respect, leaving places clean and tidy. And I lavish the same love on your pets that I do on my own so when you take off for a holiday, you can rest assured that your home and treasured pets are in good, kind and compassionate hands!
For those who are interested in housesitting for me, I live in a great location in Norfolk with my daughter: 15 minutes from Sandringham, 30 minutes from Hunstanton, 45 minutes to Well-next-to-the-sea/ Holkham. 1 hour to Cambridge, Norwich and Peterborough. It is less than two hours by train! We have a lovely two storey home with garden, which is close to supermarkets, parks and the town centre (20 minute walk to King's Lynn). The town itself is historically interesting for its Maritime past and there are some gorgeous medieval buildings to see. Read more...
