More information about this house sitter

I am a 57 year old Canadian lady looking for a peaceful place to breathe, walk and do some writing. I love the ocean, especially the Atlantic. Ideally I am looking to stay several months in south England - currently looking at the Isle of Wight as I am involved with an island based charity. Housesitting seems a good choice for me to have a change of scenery, a bit of solitude and get some online work and some writing done. I belong to Rotary International(RI) and do several hours online volunteer work for RI every week. I enjoy cats, dogs and other small furry pets and have love to share with them if pet sitting is involved.
I have looked after my own home, dogs and cats for over forty years, with many years attending to a feral cat colony.
I am involved in community and believe we all look after each other. I respect your personal space and your belongings. I am comfortable using gas, electric, wood etc. for cooking and/or heat. Although my needs are few, I do have a car waiting for my use in the UK.
I can only house sit in smoke(cigarette) free homes.
