More information about this house sitter

We are a working couple (non smoking/drinking) from Australia, we are looking at coming to live in the UK anytime after May 2020 for a year.
We’re happy to housesit in any area to start with, a longer term housesit would be wonderful, but short term will be fine after we have established ourselves there.

We have 4 grown up children and 4 gorgeous grandchildren.
We've had many wonderful pets along the way, ranging from dogs, cats,birds and our children even had a few adorable rats once!!
We have dog/cat sat many times and even got to farm sit my sister's hobby farm a few times.... chickens, turkeys, geese, goats and a cockatoo named chookie, and also looked after the veggie gardens. The highlight was hand milking their cow Daisy, morning and evening.
We have been house sitting now for nearly 3 years, and have had a housesit nearly 100 percent of the time.
We love country drives, camping, bush walking and just seeing the beautiful countryside that God has created for us to enjoy, close up.

Since our children have left the nest, so we thought we’d treat ourselves to come and live in the UK, where Geoff was born. (he is still a British citizen and I’m originally from Finland).
So we are looking forward to meeting new people and helping out with their homes in their absence and giving our love and care to their pets, home and gardens!

We’re loving our new chapter in life and enjoyed the journey it has taken us on so far, together with the people we have met and the new adventures along the way.
We have recently enjoyed a 3 month holiday in the UK (August- October 2019), which has only reinforced our desire to return again.

Pavi and Geoff recently looked after our house and fur baby Christo – a large Dane cross. We were a little nervous about having house sitters initially as it was our first time and Christo’s – but we were put at ease after our introduction meeting and the experience they have had across a number of houses and animals.

Communication throughout was exceptional and we were pleased to hear Christo was settled happy. We arrived home to our house in an immaculate condition. We won’t hesitate asking Pavi and Geoff to look after Christo and our house again on our next holiday.

THEIR REVIEW OF YOU: Many thanks to Paivi and Geoff for house sitting for us. This was the first time we have had anyone house sit and we were somewhat apprehensive. However, we met Paivi and Geoff before we left and felt much more secure about the arrangement. We are now home and are very pleased and very impressed with the level of care and consideration that we have experienced. Excellent care has been given to our house, yard and pool. More importantly, Paivi and Geoff have a lovely manner. All communications were timely, and they kept us updated on information as required. We have already asked them to house sit for us again. Unfortunately, they are already booked.

THEIR REVIEW OF YOU: Paivi and Geoff were amazing house sitters. Our dog Bruce had the best 5 wks with his new family, going on many walks and trips in their car to our local forest park. We were kept updated with videos and photos of our beloved dog. We came home to a spotless home and would highly recommend this lovely couple and we will surely be using them again.

Geoff and Paivi looked after our house for 3 months from mid August 2018. They were a pleasure to deal with and responded to all our communications while we were away promptly and with no fuss. We were very pleased with the condition and the cleanliness of the house on our return and had nothing but good reports from neighbours. We would have no hesitation in having them look after our property in the future.

Geoff & Paivi , looked after our home better than we expected , it was clean & tidy when we got home from our holidays . They are a very pleasant & thoughtful couple .
Our 2 dogs were healthy & happy & took a liking to Geoff & Paivi .
We would highly recommend them
