More information about this house sitter

I have been house sitting almost three decades, privately and via this website. I am self-employed and my work is highly mobile, so I can care for your home and pet(s) no issue.

Experience thus far includes cats, dogs, chickens and fish. I was raised with cats and dogs, and am comfortable with them. Unless instructed otherwise, I enjoy taking dogs out two or three times a day. I listen to your instructions about your pet(s) and home, and respect them at all times. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, including some who have been on medication. I keep my hosts informed with regular WhatsApp updates.

I am Australian, in my 60's and physically active. I enjoy the change in pace that house sitting provides. I am visiting the UK in April 2027 with the right to abide in the UK for an unlimited amount of time. I would like to stay as long as I can as a house sitter so long term house sits will be welcome.

I prefer a quiet setting that's not too isolated or remote. I like to keep things clean; only use the rooms/spaces I need to; and use apple cider vinegar and bicarb rather than cleaning chemicals.

I am best with low- to medium-care gardens. Don't really want to mow or trim lawns any more. I prefer to walk into a clean home and leave it at least as good as I find it.

I tend to need a month's or so's notice, but I'm willing to help at short notice if I can.
