More information about this house sitter

I'm a mid fifties practical woman who tends a small homestead with veg garden, fruit, nuts and chickens. My husband and I recently built our straw bale/timber home.
I'm very happy to look after dogs cats, chickens plants and houses with all of whom/which I have much experience. I enjoy long walks and it would be lovely to share them with a canine companion.
I have an up to date police check, do not smoke, have a car, and will sometimes house sit with my husband, John. I can guarantee to be in in the evenings. This is an opportunity for me to have some quiet time away from home to read, write and walk with creaturely companions. It is my first time as a formal home sitter but I have long experience of taking care of other folks' homes and putting on events at a local retreat centre for which I am responsible when in residence.
I worked in the NHS for 26 years as a Psychotherapist and apart from growing our own food, I also work as a pianist/musician.
