Hello, we’re Leigh and Joe!

Thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We’re a friendly, trustworthy and dependable married couple who would love the opportunity to care for your home and beloved pets while you’re away.

We both work for a private emergency ambulance company, where I, Leigh, am a Training Manager and Ambulance Medic, and Joe maintains the ambulance fleet and also works as an Ambulance Medic. Our professions require us to be calm under pressure, responsible, reliable and attentive to detail, and these are qualities we bring to every house sit.

We are passionate animal lovers and share our home with two large dogs, so we understand how important routines, exercise, companionship and lots of love are to our four-legged family members. We are experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and are comfortable administering medication if required.

We are also very experienced cat owners, having previously bred and shown our own cats. We understand that cats have their own personalities and routines and appreciate the importance of patience, affection and maintaining a calm environment. In addition, we have experience caring for horses, having owned our own, as well as chickens and small birds, including budgies. We are confident and comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals, both large and small.

Joe is a skilled carpenter and joiner, so he’s very handy to have around. Should any minor household issues arise during your absence, he is often able to put things right, providing extra peace of mind.

We both hold full UK driving licences and are tidy, respectful and security-conscious. We appreciate the trust involved in welcoming someone into your home, and you can be assured that your property, pets and possessions will be cared for as if they were our own.

We enjoy walking, exploring new places and spending time outdoors, so daily dog walks are something we genuinely look forward to. We are happy to maintain your pets’ normal routines, water plants, tend to the garden and keep everything running smoothly while you’re away.

Communication is important to us, and we are always happy to send regular updates, photographs and videos so you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing everything at home is safe and well.

Whether you’re planning a weekend away or a longer trip, we’d be delighted to provide loving care, companionship and peace of mind. We take great pride in being dependable, genuine and considerate, and we look forward to meeting you and becoming trusted guardians of your home and furry family members.
