Hi there, my name is Coleen and I am an energised 56 year old who feels 42...I am new to this site, although not new to House-sitting!

I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, considerate and caring to look after your pets/home/garden. I like animals alot and would love the opportunity to get to know your furry friends and their personalities while taking meditative walks and spending quality time in nature. I love being around animals and recognize animals have the ability to bring us much joy.

I have always been very passionate about the environment and live an intentional life and care about what kind of impact I make while living on this earth. The motto I live by is "Always leave a place better than you found it."

I have house-sitted in the past and have always been praised for my attentive caring nature. I know that communication is very important and will make sure to keep you updated on your pets.

I have qualifications in horticulture and will give TLC to any plants and trees you may have in your home or garden. My background is in Community Work, Mentoring and Eco-Living practices. I have volunteered for non profit community organisations in the UK and in various countries around the world. I have previous experience of living and managing a homestead in Jamaica for 4 years.

I am a creative student of life and love learning. Over the years I have taught myself through necessity and interest - painting, decorating and furniture restoration.

Currently, I am focusing my attention on slowly travelling around the UK while writing my memoirs.

My daughter Sapphira who is 27, will be spending a moment with me before venturing off to travel on her own. She is hardworking and considerate and has a passion for animals and cooking. We work well together and will make sure your pets and home are our priority and will make sure all agreed responsibilities are met. We are both non-smokers.
