Soon I will be 66 and ready to retire. I have a love for life and fabulous experiences. I’m outgoing with a generous and kind heart. I was born in Somerset. My family emigrated to Australia in 1968. In 2023 our son married Sarah and now he lives in her home country of Switzerland. His Dad and I split some 20 yrs ago but we are good enough friends to travel together. In 2023 and 2024 we both shared accomodation to cater for friends and family to visit. This time I /we are coming to spend time to look around the local area of Somerset and Yorkshire. To be a part of a local community with a little dog and a couple of cats to welcome us would be an honour. Our other son has 2 cats that we shared the care of when he went on holidays so I feel I /we could meet the brief. We have over the years between us, has cats, birds, fish and a little much loved doge named Fidget (RIP). My plan is to spend 6-7 months in England, visiting Spain, France and Switzerland in that time. An opportunity to spend time in your home with your fur family would be something special. This is a new experience for me/us (other than for our son and daughter in law) . As a couple of good friends, one outgoing, the other a home body, I feel we would be ideal .Please feel free to contact me.
