ABOUT US:
We are clean, organized, reliable, and conscientious. We did our first sit in 2012, and have been sitting almost full-time since 2022.

We love animals, and have lots of experience looking after pets.

One disadvantage to living the peripatetic life is that it's hard to have pets of our own. House sitting combines the best of both worlds. We still laugh about the antics of some of the pets we've sat!

SOME OF OUR PAST HOUSE SITS:

April - July 2019 Harrow-on-the-Hill, Greater London (1 dog, 1 cat, 2 fish)
Sat an adorable French bulldog, a lovely 9-year-old cat, and two goldfish.

October 2018 - May 02, 2019: Longpont-sur-Orge, France (1 cat)
Sat one sweet 13-year-old cat.

Jan. 12 - Mar. 18, 2018: The Cotswolds (2 puppies)
Took care of two lovely and quirky dogs, about a year old. One of them had had surgery on her hip only a week or two before we arrived, and we walked her several times a day to rehabilitate her leg. The other pup was able to go for normal walks.

Dec. 21 - Jan.10, 2018: Kent, England (2 dogs)
Took care of two zany dogs in Maidstone while their owner traveled for the holidays.

Sept. 26 - Dec. 19, 2017: (no pets)
House sitting in Ireland's Ancient East. There were no pets on this house sit, but took care of a home in county Cavan.

3 occasions between 2014 - 2015 Clamart, France (2 cats)
Took care of one young cat (he was a kitten a few months old during the first sit) and an older cat who popped in occasionally to visit.

July 2013 - Paris, France (1 cat)
Sat an 'only child' (that is to say, a single cat). Special requirements included weighing out her food and feeding her at certain times of day, as she was on a diet.

November 2012 - Marbella, Spain (7 cats)
Looked after the owner's apartment and pets (some were indoor cats, others stayed outdoors). Fed the cats at 10 AM and 6-7 PM, kept their bowls clean and tidy, gave them the treats of turkey or white fish (as per instructions). And of course, gave them all the pats they wanted!

WHY WE SIT:
We love the fact that house sitting is a win-win situation: The home owner gains peace of mind, and we gain the experience of being in a new place, and caring for some (often very zany) pets. Read more...
