Hello there, we are a reliable and responsible family looking for a house/pet-sitting opportunities. We love long walks, beaches, cosy pubs, cooking and travelling. We are complete animal lovers with lots of experience looking after our own, and other people's, furry families.
We have our own cat and dog at home who are indulged and adored and who can stay with grandparents while we galivant, although we could bring our little Border Terrier, Belle, if this was appropriate to the housesit. She is a very well-behaved, quiet old girl who spends most of her time snoring these days.

The children are aged 10 and 16, are sensible and sensitive and love dogs, cats, chickens, hedgehogs, horses, pigs, goats and everything furry and/or four-legged.

In previous housesits we have looked after dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and hedgehogs. We have also been 'puppy parents' for the charity Canine Partners which trains dogs to work with the disabled. I was a veterinary nurse for 5 years both in the UK and Australia so I'm generally quite used to all creatures great and small!

As a family, we spent the whole of summer 2018 looking after a gorgeous Irish terrier and some chickens in Dorset and summer 2019 cat-sitting a mischievous Siamese pair in Cartagena, Spain. After the Covid hiatus we restarted housesitting this year and looked after a fabulous cat in Luxembourg and a pug and a husky in Cheltenham. We have loved all of them and have always had fantastic feedback which we are happy to share.

I can provide testimonials for these housesits and I also have reviews for catsitting on the Tailster website. I can provide additional references for these and other housesitting jobs we have done.
