We are a couple who are currently taking a break from our old lives to think about what we want to do next. David has renovated a six hundred year old house in England, run a property maintenance business and set up his own travel company offering bespoke tours to Western Europe, written for popular guides in Europe and writes creatively for his own enjoyment. Grace was a competitive horsewoman and worked in agriculture before switching to nursing. Here she specialised in integrative cancer care and managed a team of therapists at an international cancer charity. We both love hiking and the great outdoors, gardening, cooking good food, music, tennis, literature, travelling and meeting people.
In May of 2017 we returned from a worldwide trip which involved a mixture of travelling and volunteering. We are now looking at where we want to 're-plant' ourselves. Not only do we love animals and gardening, but housesitting gives us an opportunity to live in different areas and communities enabling us to get to know them more thoroughly.
We are practical, conscientious and trustworthy and have excellent references from a wide experience of housesitting.
