Hello, I’m Nicky, a warm, trustworthy and conscientious house sitter based in West Yorkshire. My professional life is rooted in care and wellbeing: An Occupational Therapist now leading exercise-based cancer services, in Harrogate, supporting people through some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. This work has shaped me into someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, and deeply respectful of others’ spaces and routines.

I’m also a nature lover who enjoys peaceful environments, long walks, running, and the company of animals. I’ve cared for my own home and garden for over 25 years and I take pride in maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming space. I have cared for my own pets over the years and I understand the importance of maintaining a calm, secure environment for them.

House sitting also gives me the chance to experience new places in a meaningful way. I’m currently exploring the possibility of moving to North Yorkshire, so I’m keen to discover more about the area, its communities, and its beautiful landscapes. Staying in different homes allows me to get a real feel for local life, which is far more authentic than a short visit.

Whether you need someone to keep your pets happy, water your plants, or simply ensure your home is well looked after, I bring a thoughtful and dependable presence.

I do work full-time however, work flexibly, working from home two days a week. I have an enhanced DBS check for my profession.
