Hello, my name is Jacqui. I am a friendly, honest, caring, considerate, resourceful, down-to-earth, compassionate, animal lover, and always take very good care and respect when looking after people's homes. My natural way is to keep the home I am living in, clean, tidy and organized.

With over 7 years of house and pet sitting/ dog walking experience in the UK and abroad, and over 5 years working in animal rescue centers in the UK, where I helped with all daily routines of the animals in my care, including cleaning, feeding, exercising, medicating, training, socializing, meeting and greeting potential owners, transporting animals to vets etc.

I am currently developing a career as a writer and illustrator of children's stories and I am looking for a calm and peaceful, house or pet sit where I can explore the surrounding countryside and nature to inspire my creativity and to spend some time dedicated to completing my stories. I will also require the use of the internet to do any research needed. However, I do have my own internet data that I can use also.

I really enjoy exploring and getting to know a place, the landscape, people and community, and getting involved in local animal, and food growing projects.
I am ideally looking for longer-term sits from 8+ weeks to 6 months or even longer if the location and timing are a good match. Currently, I am being drawn to explore Wales and Scotland as possible places to relocate but I am open to considering other locations.

I am a non-smoker, non-drinker and hold a clean full driving license. References are available upon request.
