More information about this house sitter

Henry and I have been together for just over 3 years. I work at a hospice and Henry works in the automotive industry. We share a sense of adventure and love of nature, animals and outdoor pursuits. We enjoy exploring our surroundings together by foot, bike and kayak. Henry plays rugby and also enjoys fishing and clay-pigeon shooting. I enjoy trail-running, horse-riding, yoga and reading. We are friendly, neat and tidy, reliable, non-smokers.

We are mindful of the huge amount of trust you place in us to safeguard your home and cherished animals. We take this responsibility extremely seriously. For further peace of mind, owing to a previous role in law enforcement, I can confirm that we have both been vetted to an extremely high standard.

We love living in Devon and have decided to step off the rental market to try and save a deposit for our first home. Our hope is that we will also see parts of the country we might otherwise miss and that we will make memories together - of things done, sights seen and animal friends made - that we’ll treasure forever.

Between us we have an abundance of experience caring for cats, dogs, horses, and various assorted farm animals. I grew up on a small-holding surrounded by cows, sheep, horses, chickens and Jack Russells; Henry worked as a farm-hand during the school holidays when he was growing up. In recent times our extended family has included two Burmese cats, a collie, two standard wire-haired dachshunds, a Rhodesian ridgeback, two miniature shetlands, a cob, a highland pony, a hamster and a miniature smooth-haired dachshund.
