We are Joanne & Simon, a happily married, mature couple, both winding down professionally and working part time. We discovered house and petsitting when we sold our home and our new home purchase fell through. So o as animal lovers who also love travelling, we thought pet and housesitting would be a great way to see more of our beautiful country, whilst saving us huge rental costs. We enjoy live music, theatre, movies, walking our wonderful sprocker Rosie, good food, good wine and the company of our dear family and friends.
We were previously airbnb super hosts and travellers for 7 years and were complemented regularly on cleanliness, tidiness and respectfulness when staying at airbnb properties and on how clean and high quality our accommodation was, and how friendly we were, by our guests. We would treat all housesits as we have treated our own homes.
Now happily ensconced in our new home in Ayrshire, our house and petsits reignited the wanderlust in Joanne particularly and I/we are keen to do more in 2023 and onwards.
