More information about this house sitter

We are a married couple, who are hard working professionals. Martin is a picture editor for weekly magazines and Leigh is a Safeguarding officer for a housing provider. We both have DBS checks due to our work. We will ensure your home and animals are well looked after and treated as they are our own.
We have historically always minded for friends houses and animals while away and have some reviews left on our page for you to read and rest assured we will look after things when your away.
We will ensure you do not need to think about anything apart from being away and relaxing. We will send daily updates including pictures messages of your beloved fur baby’s so you can relax they are being cared and loved. (If you would like these)
As we mention, we are clean and tidy ensuring your house/garden is kept the way you would like it cared for. We both love gardening and have cared for several gardens where you will see in our reviews.
If we are allowed days out with the dog/s we will take them exploring with us. We have both been around dogs since childhood. We miss dog walking, after loosing our beloved Chesapeake Bay Retriever in February 2022 (still such hard loss to deal with) 😢. This had to be hardest thing to deal with in life so far. Pilgrim was a proper lady and loved her adventures living on the water and land with us all. We miss her dearly everyday we talk and think about her.
We have recently embarked on our new adventure in life and gave up our rented boat accommodation after pilgrim passed. Home never felt the same again, she gave us 12 happy amazing years together. We still have our older cat (Louie) to look after who if allowed will come with us to house sits, if Louie can’t come he will stay with very good friends of ours in London where we have a base to stay whilst not house sitting. Louie is a happy little boy that will sleep and eat and has a routine of living with friends and coming with us if he can. He is a transitional cat and does not mind moving around. He knows his daddy’s always come back to him.
As mentioned we both work in professional jobs which we enjoy so much, Leigh works from home all week apart from a monthly team meeting. Martin works from home full time so we will alway be around all day to look after your homes and fur baby’s.
We like to go on walks and enjoy the outdoors as much as we like to chill with the animals and each other.
We have completed many house sits to date and have built up a great profile off reviews and made some amazing friends out of doing the sits, we have really enjoyed caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, cockatiel and Degus (little rat mammals) 😁 Shetland ponies., sheep, lizards and pigs to date.
