I’m a very experienced house-sitter - good at looking after garden, animals, farms and have just built an extension on to a small garden flat to retire into on my property in Perth, West Australia. So while caring for your pets, garden and home, I hope to finish writing a book about my Grandmother who is buried in Vught, Nederland where I’m house-sitting now via holidaylink- now called housesitting for nearly 2 years.
There are many connections that I wish to make with UK colleagues to possibly work together in my specialist career, perhaps research together.
I came in June 2022 to spend some time with Aunt Bea – weekly short visits. She just turned 100 years old on 19 March, 2023 and I was here for the wonderful celebrations.
It was a precious 9 months last year and aunt Bea is still wise, caring, and great fun. But now immigration can’t find enough reasons to let me stay longer and I must leave the EU on 28 August, when I will arrive in London. References available from here too.
