We are Lianne and Jon,

We began housesitting in rural Spain in March 2016 to learn about off-grid, sustainable living.

4 years on we have vast and varied experience in Portugal, Scotland England and Wales with mostly large country properties (both on and off grid), gardens and greenhouses.

The animals we have befriended and cared for along the way include dogs (often as many as 6 at a time, lots of them rescue), plenty of cats - domestic and feral, pet rabbits, fish, horses, ponies, sheep, poultry and wildlife. Our next house sit has bees to look after - we are open to most species! We have no problems with medical care, meds administration or trips to vets if needed.

Jon's training is in teaching Design and Technology, he's a qualified electrician and has worked as a plasterer, painter/decorator. He can turn his hand to any household repair issue - a real problem solver.

Mine is in Documentary Photography. I am a home owner with excellent airbnb ratings and keep home to a high standard. I earned a Kennel Club Good Citizens Award for basic dog training for each of my (much missed) rescue German Wire Haired Pointers that I saw into ripe old ages. I am sensitive to the emotional well-being of all creatures wild or domestic.

Neither of us smoke and it is our mission is to provide superb security and stress-free care for your home and pets.

We are real home-bods and only venture out a few hours a week - mostly to shop and to explore what's in the immediate vicinity.

Our daily routine revolves around your pets general wellbeing, keeping the home clean and garden tidy.
