My name is Nidhisha, and I hope you’re having a lovely day 😊
I just wanted to get in touch as I would absolutely love the opportunity to look after your home and pets while you’re away. I’m a caring, trustworthy and responsible person, and I genuinely enjoy making sure animals feel safe, happy and well looked after.
I’m currently studying Biomedical Science, and alongside my degree I’m working on a really exciting project focused on creating an automated system to help predict neuromuscular diseases. It involves analysing patterns in data and using computational thinking to identify early indicators of disease progression. This has really strengthened my analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to stay calm, organised and methodical when managing different tasks at once. I think these skills translate really well into house sitting, where being observant, reliable and proactive is so important.
I have also previously volunteered with Durham Stray Aid, a dog charity that helps rehome abandoned dogs and supports dogs with additional needs. This gave me hands-on experience caring for animals with very different temperaments and needs, and taught me a lot about patience, empathy and consistency. Alongside this, I’ve worked in a primary and secondary school, which has further developed my communication, organisation and responsibility skills.
I would be very happy to take care of your pets, make sure they are well-fed and loved, collect your mail, look after your plants, and keep on top of bins and recycling. I’m also naturally tidy and would treat your home with great care and respect, making sure everything is kept clean, calm and in good order.
I love nature, reading and spending time outdoors, while caring for your home and pets. I’m also able to continue my university project remotely from anywhere in the UK, which means I can be flexible and fully present to give your home and pets plenty of attention.
