I am a middle-aged teacher with a desire to see more of the UK, away from tourist hotspots wherever possible. I have done much house and pet sitting over the years for friends and family, starting during my academic days. Among the pets I had growing up and as an adult were a horse, rabbit, tortoise, dog and cats.

Animals have been crucial for both my mental and physical health. Gardening got me through the Covid lockdown so caring for your plants and garden will be a joy not a chore. I am a qualified teacher, assessment specialist, community volunteer, tutor and procrastinating scribbler, mostly working from home/online these days.

I am grateful to have already had some incredible experiences on sits around the UK, from Scotland down to Devon, West Wales to Kent, and making many furry friends along the way: I have especially loved being asked back for return/regular sits, to get reacquainted with pets and owners alike : ) To date, these furry friends have included horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, geese and hamsters.
