I am a middle-aged teacher with a desire to see more of the UK, away from tourist hotspots wherever possible. I have done much house and pet sitting over the years for friends and family, starting during my academic days, and then discovered that there were ways of doing so in other parts of the UK. Among the pets I had growing up and as an adult are a horse, rabbit, tortoise, dog and cats.
Animals have been crucial for both my mental and physical health. Gardening got me through the Covid lockdown so caring for your plants and garden will be a joy not a chore.
I am a qualified teacher, assessment specialist, community volunteer, tutor and procrastinating scribbler, mostly working from home/online these days. I am grateful to have already had some incredible experiences on sits around the UK and made many furry friends who I hope will remember me, like I remember them, should we meet again; I have already been invited back for return sits : )
